TP-Flamenco Negra guitar

I like this model of flamenco guitars so much I ordered one for myself. The Pavan FN is a Flamenco Negra. It has solid East Indian rosewood sides and back, solid cedar or spruce top, tap guard, ebony fretboard, bone nut and saddle, Spanish cedar neck, and a slotted headstock with tuning machines. The string scale is 650mm. This is one nice guitar.

The first Pavan Flamenco Negra I received was included in a larger order of Spanish made flamenco guitars. All the other flamenco guitars in the order were flamenco blancos having solid spruce tops and solid Spanish cypress sides and back. The Flamenco Negra was by far the best flamenco guitar out of them all. The cypress and spruce guitars sounded dull in comparison. It wasn't even a contest.

I have since decided to supply Spain with better spruce from my personal stockpile of wood and now offer Flamenco Negras with a spruce top. These spruce top instruments sound beautiful also.

The Pavan Flamenco Negra has the tonal variation found in good classical guitars plus that open exciting percussive quality found in good flamenco guitars. You could describe the Pavan Flamenco Negras as classical flamenco guitars.

If you would like a Spanish made guitar that works well for flamenco, Latin, classical, and other styles you will be pleased with this instrument. These classical flamenco guitars have a wonderful sound and an easy playing action. I can put in an excellent under the saddle pickup system for any players who need to amplify.
